Never Order Fluids @ Angeethi !! itz EXPENSIVE

Worst part of this restaurant is beverages are damn expensive . Mineral Water (1 ltr) is Rs.60 and Soft Drink (200 ml) is Rs.60. While having dinner at restaurant, people order these drinks without fail.So they should offer this at reasonable prices. Another worst drink they have is Soup’s(100 ml) which costs Rs.70. This Soup is served in a 100 ml tea glass. The only difference from normal Tea glass which we get in tea shops is they offer soup in the same tea glass but it is kept in a small jug made with Brass metal … My sincere suggestion who ever visiting Angeethi is please “ Refrain from ordering fluids ” as these prices are not at all reasonable…It costs me Rs.800(incl. tax) just for odering 6 Soft Drinks (200ml each), 2 Mineral Water(1000 ml each) & 4 Soups (100ml each) ...
This is pure Punjabi Dhaba resemblance restaurant with good ambience but
Seating arrangement is bit congested. Items listed in Menu book are very tough to understand and place the order. People visiting for the first time should definitely take help from waiters before placing the order. probably Buffet cud be a good deal which serves from Monday to Saturdat Afternoon's @ rs.199

The Best Dhaba in Twin Cities

I am a hardcore Hyderabadi and let me tell you that I have been searching for a great dhaba here. I have visited Degchi and Nirulas in Hasbiguda but not quite convinced about them. I couldn't find any impressive dhabas on the highways too. Till date the best dhaba that I found is in Chennai - The Lahori Dhaba in Cenatoph road.

Angeethi in Hyderabad is best in its class. If you are looking for an unmatched, authentic punjabi fare, look no further. The food, ambiance and service are great and live up to the standards of BJN group. Compared to mediocre restaurants in Hyderabad, this place offers a great value for money.

I have also been to Samarkhand in Bangalore and liked it too.

I strongly recommend this place if you are looking for some variety and want to have a memorable dining experience.

Amitabh da dhaba

This is an Amitabh themed dhaba that serves a mean buffet. The food is great, and the Surma Bhopali panwala dhukan inside bought back some good bollywood memories. Just one crib. They made us listen to Himesh Reshammiya all the time. For a Big B themed restaurant, I expect them to unleash "Rang Barse" or "Khaike Paan Banaraswala". That would made it perfect.

Excellent buffet!

The place to go to if you have a nice buffet in mind. Or kebabs for that matter because they serve some of the best in Hyderabad. Their preparations are pretty much of the order of other BJN stalwart restaurants like Samarkhand(Bangalore). However, its the congestion and the lack of proper waiting place at this restaurant that can sometimes kill the joy of eating at this place. Expect a minimum waiting time of 45 minutes at any mealtime and the less said about their concept of telephonic reservations the better. The people have to wait right next to the tables, and if you are unlucky enough to be seated at one of those tables then expect a 101 stares at your food which is bound to kill anyone's appetite.
