No, I am not reviewing Xtreme Madhapur exclusively, but then I wrote the earlier review and I spent my new years eve there, and thus I have my right to update my old review. Or say contradict it.
The DJ was a baccha. They started playing 'commercial' music (Read Bollywood) to make the crowd come together. We went to Xtreme to listen to bollwood mixes?? The crowd was ultra-cheap (Read 'Roadside Romeos'), and the floor was all-wet with crowd doing a champagne-act with pint bottles. Suddenly, there is dead-air at 11:45 pm and nobody has a clue what happened. The crowd went berserk shouting all kinds of vernacular gaalis to the DJ and the managers. Somehow, one of the same 'crowd' members picked up the mic (someone using the mic for the first time in the entire evening) and made the party continue. The countdown happened, followed up by Summer of 69 and in less than half an hour - the party is over! Worst part: The bouncers had a tough time protecting the ladies from the drunk hooligans, but the managers kept looking at the watch. Of course, their passes were already sold and no damage happened to their premises. But, they must think of the damage done to their brand name!
