Event DetailsThe biggest nation-wide music festival celebrating the culture of live bands is back with an even bigger platform than ever before. Scheduled for three rocking months (August-October 2009) at the best pubs across the country, Kingfisher Pub rock fest this year will see some of the greatest names in the music circuit, along with many new acts and two international acts touring the country. The concept of Pub rock fest was initiated by Rock Street Journal in 2005, when a humble beginning was made with a four gig festival featuring twelve bands in Delhi. It marked the beginnings of a club rock culture in the Capital, which sustained beyond the festival. Two years ago, kingfisher Pub rock fest was taken to seven cities and thirty gigs. This year, it is bigger than ever, going into 19 cities and seventy five gigs over August, September and October.
