More of a general review of Hyderabadi Biryani 2011-01-15
Biryani, in and around Hyderabad, is mostly around the price range of Rs. 120-150, for a plate that serves 2.
And only three places count in my list of good hyderabadi biryani- 1) Alpha @ Secunderabad 2) Paradise 3) Hyderabad House (and not necessarily in the above order)
Biryani served at Paradise is quite rich- as in content wise- cashews and all strewn across. However, that is where it stops for me..the taste somehow doesn't work.
@ Alpha, it is one hearty meal..the place to be when really really hungry. (Recommended for college students, low on cash- serves 2 @ Rs.110) The chicken... read more -

Yes, its the same Hyderabad House which is all over Hyderabad. Still, it has something special when it comes to Biriyani. Their biriyani tastes absolutely different from any other branches I have been.

HyderaBAD! House! 2009-06-16
2 weeks in hyderbad and work has kept me away from any good things. The gym keeps me away from the forbidden. But after 2 weeks of lunch dinner and breakfast at work, i headed out one sunday late afternoon with 3 of my frens cum colleague to Hyderabadi House. I actually wanted to do Paradise with all the reputation i saw on Burrp, but this was the closest. Damn the proximantey can be a cause for bad taste!
