Well,I had to write this review after the worst dining experience ever..please don't call this place a Mexican restaurant.A better name would be a Cat food restaurant.
I had booked a table for two at La Cantina hoping to wipe out memories of a previous bad dinner here where we were attacked by hoards of female blood sucking mosquitoes!
We ordered the items listed below (no drinks as I was driving)
1. Bocoles de Res - got 4 flat cakes which looked and tasted like fried chappatis about the size of a 2 rupee coin with a thin layer of unidentifiable goop inside.
2. Chicken in Salsa Crudo Burrito - plating was very unappetizing and quite tasteless.
3. Beef Tournedos - ordered these medium done - impossible to cut,tasteless.
You know that you have had a bad dinner when the chips/salsa/sour cream on the table is better than the stuff that you have ordered!
OMG!That was Rs.2000/- that we flushed down the toilet.
The chef needs to be fired as he does not seem to have anything resembling a palate .Everything we ordered tasted like it came out of a can(of catfood:(!)We will not be going there ever again.
