Blue Fox in Ameerpet is one of those cozy little places that serves continental food. Though the menu lacked in variety, the quality and the quantity of the food were excellent. The sizzlers in particular were delicious. With a modest pricing, this can be a very good option for those with a voracious appetite.
The Kababs were also excellent. I would suggest a tandoori platter. Appolo fish was also splendid.

When I had just relocated to Hyderabad around a decade back, my friend Indranil had taken me to the Blue Fox restaurant in Himayatnagar. I had liked the food and since the time the restaurant had opened its branch at Ameerpet I have been frequenting this place.
Blue Fox is part of the same group which has a number of restaurants including the famous Minerva Coffee Shop. The place serves very good multi-cuisine food as well as liquor. It is a crowded place with a busy din around you and service is fast. And frequently you have to wait your turn to get a table especially in the weekend.
The food is spicy and great. My favorite soup here is chicken & mushroom soup. It is a clear soup. The hot and sour soup is also a good choice. We normally try the spring rolls for starters.
Blue Fox is known for its kababs. Go for the Tandoori Platter. It has an assortment of kababs including Seekh Kababs, Tangri kababs, Fish Tikka and chicken malai kababs. It comes in sumptuous quantity and at Rs 280 it is good for two hungry people. You can also settle for individual kababs.
Cost – Rs 500-600 for 3 people.
