Santosh Jubilee on the Madhapur Jubilee hills road, very close to the Jubilee Hills check post, was the latest destination on my culinary voyage of Hyderabad. This place opened recently and it showed. The ambience was good and the interiors looked new. The waiters were also eager and enthusiastic enquiring politely what we liked and disliked and suggesting dishes that would appeal to us. We ordered a couple of sizzlers that were pretty decent and filling. The place is expensive which is not surprising since it looks posh and is located in a prime locality. The only problem with this multi cuisine restaurant is that there really is nothing that would make me want to go back to it over and over again. It somehow lacks the magic of a Chutneys or a Sahib Sindh Sultan. And, although I was’nt greatly impressed, I was’nt disappointed. Worth a try, I guess.
