Unethical way of conducting business 2011-12-04
We 4 people had visited Thai Express on Friday, 2nd December 2011. Rather than commenting on food, ambiance etc. I want to draw the attention of people, prospective customers and management of this restaurant to an issue.
This was my 2nd visit to the restaurant. After we finished the meal, we asked for the bill. It took almost 20-25 minutes to bring the bill, and to our utter surprise- it was a handwritten one. It was kind of "kachcha" bill (or, the bills that are used for quotation purpose). There was no TIN number mentioned in the bill.

Fail rating for below average food,poor portions 2011-09-26
Food taste was not satisfactory. I found it very expensive and not worth the quantity that they serve.I have had better thai experience in other places . This is not a family restaurant. I am unable to believe the below review. Seems like I went to a different restaurant. The food is dry and lacks the subtle spice and flavor of Thai cuisine. It is very obvious that the owner himself has written the below review. Dont believe it. Coming back to my experience, service is slow. I read the other reviews on Thai Express saying that the quality of food was not up to the mark and words to that effect - but I have a different take. This place is for those who have taste for subtle flavours and authentic cuisine and not for those whose palates refuse to let go of the garam masala, butter chicken, curry leaves and sambar podi.

It is not suitable for families as one dish is only sufficient for 1 person barely. this is a fast food type place with restaurant rates. quality of food is poor. service slow. very exepensive. i have had better thai at other places -
