    Torque is the pub of Green Park Hotel. It has been designed with automobile lovers in mind.

    As you enter the pub, you see the front portion of a "Willys" jeep. To the right corner is the front portion of a BMW. The bar stools have been designed from automobile components and even the smoking area has seats and wall decor with car components. An automobile engine adorns another area of the pub.

    A terrible place. A loud pub with no acoustics and plays music at deafening volume. No proper dance floor and an amateurish DJ. I'm never going back to this place.

    It was my first visit to torque.it is a great place, the service is also good,but dey don serve hookah,or smoke in the pub.the service is good,the dj is also good but he does not play any bollywod tracks.its a great place to go after partys.

    i think they should start smoking and hookah in the pub.

    is all I can say.
    there were no ladies on a ladies night.
    the place seemed like the Dev-D bar set come alive with a grumpy man(maybe he wanted to go out somewhere else and party. It WAS a saturday!) to welcome you.Dunno how the music (a IPL match was on and the team the DJ was supporting might be losing). I liked the decor grungy, garage look.Hence the name, I think. I guess it would be better with music and the dance lights on.
    The drinks were ok and prompt.

    While I am a regular to Greenpark hotels in my hometown chennai, especially its Escape Club, I make it a point to visit this place in hyderabad whenever i am here... One of the oldest pubs in the city, being Escape is now revamped as the "Torque" and I visited this place during their prelaunch run as well as last saturday late nite when they officially opened, one would be amazed to find out how the hotel had managed to turn around this place from the old style escape to a trendy setup with plush and comfortable lounges as well as some of the memoraphilia from the automobile world...
