The perfect evening..

I concur with the review given below. The ambience was soothing, the food , eclectic and the service, commendable. The chicken showerma, came quite close to being authentic. In short this is a good place to elevate yourself - in every sense of the word- and get away from the maddening Hyderabadi crowds!

Not one single niggle!

Terrace Bay is perhaps one of those unknown jewels in this city, which I would never have visited if not for my friend who used to stay in that area. Close to Hyderabad Central, right on top of BabuKhan mall.

On a cool November night, the outdoor seating transports you to a different world far away from the mayhem of the city. No noises of construction, no horns blaring... just peace, lovely ambience, glittering lights far away and an amazing DJ who plays really swell music.

We had the option of either indoor or outdoor seating, but then once we reached there, there was no question in any of our minds, we were sitting on the terrace! There's seating for the cosy couples , or for the more boisterous groups like us. The lighting is absolutely fab, soft yellow lights in something which looked like it was the outer covering of a dried fruit (am getting carried away here... but it really looked like that), not too bright, not too dark... they had placed some kind of a lamp on the tables also to provide additional lighting.

The food... is absolutely amazing. We were kind of worried when we heard multi-cuisine since the ubiquitous multi-cuisines restaurants have never failed to disappoint us. But this was amazing. 7 different people, 7 different tastes and it managed to delight all our palates. There was French, Italian, Lebanese, Thai, Indian and of course Chinese I dont know if I've left anything out. But all of them surpassed our expectations.

I dint have anything to drink, but I dint hear anyone else complain about the drinks. The mocktails were decent.

And the last but the best part, no crowds on a saturday evening. No having to wait for tables and no fighting with jostling crowds. It might be a slightly expensive dinner, but if you ever get a chance do definitely dine at Terrace Bay. Its a lovely experience.
