I had heard rave reviews of the Biryani in this restaurant from foodie friends. Recently a friend told me that they have introduced Emu bird preparations in this restaurant as special dishes. This prompted me to visit here for a dinner after a movie show at Imax.
The restaurant is situated on the busy Punjagutta Road. Parking facilities are limited. They have a takeaway on the roadside. A board next to the takeaway advertises the special emu dishes.
The restaurant is in the first floor. The AC Family section has about 10-12 tables and is a clean and nice place. The menu lists...

As part of regular meets organized by the Facebook group "Hyderabad Foodies" I participated in a sit down dinner here on a warm summer evening.
The restaurant showcases vegetarian food from Rajasthan and Gujarat area, and it also has an ethnic look befitting the region. As soon as we entered a tilak was put on our forehead in a traditional style. One of my fellow foodies who had organized this meet had borrowed a reg pagdi and going around. The whole environment was abuzz with around 40 foodies at different stages of their meal.
One of our friends had visited the restaurant...

Hard Rock Café is having a Mojito festival. Mojito is one of my favorite cocktails, and I have tried various versions of the cocktail apart from the traditional Cuban lime and sugarcane. Recently I had tasted a tea based mojito at the Radisson Blue.
So, I was genuinely pleased to try out the nine flavors of this drink offered at the Hard Rock Café. The hallmark of this fest is that there are 9 different fruit flavors offered in this range. Apart from the fruit and mint leaves, different flavors of Bacardi have been used in different drinks. For example the orange drink uses Bacardi orange...

Blue Door serves Greek food - one of the few good ethnic restaurants in the city. Attended a Foodies meet of the Facebook group "Hyderabad Foodies" here. The restaurant had made a special arrangement of a set menu for the group, where we had a few options to choose from the courses.
I appreciate the decor of the restaurant - designed tastefully in white and blue, There is an open area too for people to enjoy their meals. The owner Mr Balaram was present and took lot of pains to ensure that we get the best service. He also painstakingly explained each dish to all the participants. I inqui...

I would like to start by thanking my foodie friends in recommending this restaurant. I was told that the food here gets closest to authentic Awadhi food than any other places in Hyderabad.
Situated next to Indo-Arab mosque in Road No 10 (road next to City Centre) this place is a bit difficult to locate. However inside it is spacious with an A/C section as well as the Garden section. The ambiance was average though spacious. Can not give a very high rating for cleanliness.
We sat in the A/C section as it was hot outside. The menu makes nice reading with delicacies from Hyderaba...
