Four Seasons is very well known for its biryani - it is also known for its Lebanese food. Tried their Lebanese platter ( Chicken sheesh touk, garlic fish kabab, grilled prawn, and another Arabic chicken kabab in a bed of vegetables and salad) along with garlic bread. Each of the preparations had different flavors which made the meal delicious.
The food is not spicy and smells of herbs and is served with Arabic garlic sauce. Typical Arabic delicacies like Hummus and Tabouleh are also available here.
The service is a bit slow, so go for a leisurely meal here.

Good
Peking Palace situated in a lane opposite Aditya Park Inn in Ameerpet is a small chinese restaurant with about 10 tables. However this is one of the few places in Hyderabad, who serve Tibetan style Momos. Both fried and steamed varieties are served.. about 8 pieces in a plate.
The general Chinese food is also good- tried the seafood soup which is very good as well as the Pan Fried Noodles.
The place is light on the pockets. The owner told us that he has a catering division who can serve Chinese food for your parties.

Good
Waterfront is bang next to Eat Street on Necklace Road. The place has an enclosed air conditioned restaurant but the best part is the open air seating next to the Hussain Sagar lake. The place provides a breathtaking view of the lake, the tank bund opposite, the Buddha statue and is easily the most scenic place to have your dinner in Hyderabad.
Another USP of this place is the great Thai food it serves (it also serves Indian and Chinese). Try the satays with peanut sauce and coconut based Thai Chicken soup (Tom Yam Phak...). For the main course I recommend the Thai Fried Rice and rice noodles along with Khao Phad Chicken (Chicken cooked in cashew nuts and red chillies).
I found the service fairly quick (though given the great view I would not mind a slower service. The place gets pretty crowded by 8:30 PM so book in advance and while booking reserve a table next to the lake. There is a cover charge of Rs 350 per person, but as the place is quite expensive a meal for 3 will cost you upwards of Rs 1200.

Excellent
Tewari Brothers is possibly one of the best places to have breakfast. It opens sharp at 8 AM. You have a choice of namkeen items like Khasta Kachoris, Samosas, Panner and Bread Pakoras. My favorite breakfast here is Poori Chole. Also try the stuffed capsicum pakoras - I have not tasted anything like it in Hyderabad.
Tiwari also has a range of sweets all available in the morning. You will find a number of students and office goers feasting on Gajar Ka Halwa. And dont forget to end it with a glass of lassi... reminds me of my student days in Varanasi.
Tiwaro Brothers is fairly easy on the pocket... a sumptuous breakfast will not exceed Rs 70. Visit on Sundays for Peas Paratha with Alu Dum.

Good
Barbeque Nation is part of an All-India chain of restaurants situated on the ground floor of ANR Centre opposite the City Centre mall in Banjara Hills. The place has a lunch and dinner buffet.
What is different about this buffet is that a grill is set up on your table and starters on skewers are placed on this grill. We had starters of chicken, paneer, vegetables and achaari aloo. Various marinades, condiments, and butter are kept in small bowls on the tables which you can add to the food being barbequrd on the skewers to suit your taste. It is a delightful experience and the staff just keeps on bringing an endless flurry of food to be barbequed and consumed. Try experimenting by grilling the chicken in different marinades and they do really taste different each time!
They also have a full course meal to have if you still like to eat more after having the starters. For us there was chicken lemon grass soup, roast chicken in mint sauce, sea food salad , thai broccoli green curry as well as the Indian laal chicken. The buffet also has its fair share of sweets and desserts.
The overall ambience is nice though the place tends to get very crowded. This place is definitely worth a visit for the experience it provides.
Lunch buffet is Rs 250 plus taxes whereas the more elaborate dinner buffet is Rs 400.
