Good
Finding this place is quite a difficult task as it is on the first floor above the Reliance Fresh outlet and the entrance to it is not clearly marked out.
As we made it up there, quite expectedly, we found the place empty. The smell of paint still adorned the well designed interiors but despite this initial hiccup, the ambiance and the service made dining at Hunan quite a warm experience.
The place had just opened two days ago and thus the word had not yet spread about the place, so not knowing what to expect, we had gone there merely to check out the place. But it was inviting enough for us to try a few starters and then move into the main course and finish with complimentary dessert.
We tried the crackling spinach and Mushroom Manchurian which was slightly on the spicier side (not the usual Bangalore spice levels) but very tasty. The main course of noodles and veggies in oyster sauce was also nice, but the paneer pieces were a little sour. Also they did not have the credit card machine in place yet so we had to pay cash (which worked out a little less than 500 for a meal for two.) I would attribute some of these issues we found to teething trouble which should hopefully get fixed soon. And I'll be going back pretty soon to check on that...

Good
Since we are vegetarians, we totally enjoyed the food here. It is quite good and quantities and filling. The only other Italin place in Bangalore I've been to is Fiorano's and between Fiorano and Little Italy, it is a difficult call... but I would tend to lean in favor of Fiorano...

Poor
We had the meals and tried the raagi dosa, I must say it was a let down. The AC in the ac section was not working and the service reeked of old hotel callousness. But the cutneys were really good I must say, apart from that this is a place I would not prefer to visit again, especially when CTR is just around the corner...

Average
Having grown up in Mumbai, one of the constant search in Bangalore has been for good Chaats, and the review here lead me to Food Camp and I must say that I have been let down badly. We tried Aloo Tikki Chole and Bhel Puri both of which fell short. The Tikki Chole had peas and the masala was totally South-Indian while the Bhel was just not Bhel. The Pav-Bhaji which we tried also was just quite not up to the mark as well. The pav was sweet while the Bhajji did not have the right tang and the quantity was miniscule (we wasted the extra pavs)
On the good side, we tried some soups and starters which were very good. Also the South Indian section downstairs is very good and a very clean alternative to the Shanti-Sagars. Overall it was a mixed experience.

Poor
Tried out the buffet here and the food was quite ordinary. The selection too did not seem to gel well. There was a lonely veg noodles that did not have anything to go with it. There was cabbage vadas and snake gourd theeyal and yam poriyal hmnn very strange as these were supposed to go with north-Indian rotis. The AC was not working and the service (well what is that)
